The incidence of fire has increased these days due to strong westerly wind. In this series, more than half a dozen houses were burnt to ashes due to short circuit in Mahagama village of Mahagama Panchayat of Dharhara block. When nearby villagers got information about the fire incident, they tried to extinguish the fire, but due to strong tail wind, the flames started increasing further.
Seeing the increasing flames, the villagers informed the fire department. The fire department team reached the spot and controlled the fire with the help of the villagers. It is said that in this incident, all the food and drinks kept in the thatched house along with grains were burnt to ashes and three cattle also died. After getting information about the incident, Ladayatand police station and block personnel reached the spot and are interrogating the victim’s family.

It is said that there was an electric pole near Pinku Yadav’s house and due to the spark coming out of short circuit in the electric wire, first Pinku Yadav’s thatched house caught fire, after which Triloki Yadav, Sikandar Yadav, Nepali Yadav, The houses of Uday Yadav, Vijay Yadav and Shravan Yadav were burnt to ashes.
